The rustic Reitherjoch-Alm sits at 1,500 m, halfway up to the Härmelekopf.

The hut was formally a shelter for herdsmen from Reith, but is now an inviting destination for hikers and bikers. And almost all of them become “repeat offenders”, as you can see from the numerous entries in the guest book.

There are several possibilities to get to the alpine pasture:

Easy walk:

  • From the parking lot of Rosshütte valley station via a forest road.
  • From the parking lot at the Reith business park (about 1 km from the Rosshütte valley station / exit "Ichtyolwerk") via a forest road.

Alpine hikes in combination with our mountain railways:

  • With the funicular to the Rosshütte, continue with the cable car "Härmelekopfbahn" to the top station, then the downhill run down to the Reitherjoch-Alm.
  • With the funicular to the Rosshütte, continue with the cable car "Seefelder Jochbahn" to the top station, among the "Höhenweg" (Seefelder Spitze) towards "Reither Spitze". Either then up to the "Reither Spitze" over the "Nördlinger Hütte" and then down to the Reitherjoch-Alm or before the ascent to the "Reither Spitze" begins over the ridge direction "Härmelekopfbahn" and then down to the hut.

On the sunny terrace or in the two warm, cozy inns with cozy tiled stoves, you can fill up your fuel for the return journey. Or simply relax in one of the free loungers!
